Operation Shahdara

Operation Shahdara has 3 different areas:

1) Community Based Rehabilitation

Community Based Rehabilitation helps set up leprosy affected families with their own business.  These businesses include tailoring, weaving, a small shop, rickshaw taxi and many others.

 2) Catch Them Young

Catch Them Young is a project that sponsors young people by sending them to school.  Education will give these young people a great start in life and will provide a good future for their families.

3) Low Cost Housing

Low Cost Housing at Shahdara provides leprosy affected families with good quality basic houses.  This gives families a home where they can live and perhaps carry on a small family business.

Why not get involved by doing a fundraiser to raise some money for these projects.  You could organise it within your school, your youth organisation, or you could just do something yourself!
